About The Lumiere Cinema Room

Blackpool is the Capital of Dance famous for northern soul, hip hop and, of course, ballroom. Our iconic Winter Gardens and Tower ballrooms host world championship competitions, TV shows and social dancing with ballroom dancers travelling from all over the world for the unique experience of gliding over the sprung wooden floors of these dance palaces. Designed by Lumiere, Cinéma de Danse has a very large projection screen, cinema seats and its own collection of films with a strong dance theme – from Saturday Night Fever to They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?, which is also the name of the giant mirrorball artwork on the South Shore Promenade.
